INITIAL AND RECURRENT TRAINING

Piston Training

In Your Airplane Training: We offer a variety of initial and recurrent training courses that are conducted in your airplane building actual flight experience with your avionics, in real world scenarios. Our focus is primarily the pressurized cabin-class aircraft market with a few exceptions such as the Cessna 210 and Beech Baron.

These courses are FITS formatted programs designed to bring you up to speed on the systems, operations, procedures, and handling of your new aircraft in an organized, thorough and efficient manner. These courses rely upon self directed, pre-work study, followed by a series of scenario based, one-on-one training sessions with a highly experienced, professional instructor. Each of the flight sessions involves both classroom and actual dual flight training with defined objectives and standards.

Train to Proficiency: Because each client brings a unique set of experiences and knowledge to the training course, the training itself is flexible, seeks to build on each pilot’s prior experiences, while setting the proper framework for the safe operations in your new aircraft. Completion of both the initial and recurrent course requires achieving/demonstrating proficiency. This includes knowledge as well as airmanship skills in VFR and IFR conditions, handling normal, abnormal and emergency scenarios to FAA standards for the level of certificate you hold.

The goal of each training course is to ensure that you have the knowledge, skill and the self-confidence to begin or continue flying your high performance, technically advance aircraft, safely and competently, taking full advantage of all its unique capabilities and characteristics.
